I began my career on the other side of the business, working at WCBS-TV in New York. I worked in local news and sports, did some writing, field and segment producing, worked on all the shows and learned from some of the best.
After a stint at WNEV-TV in Boston, I tried something a little different at MTV, and then went to WNBC-TV and NBC News. Opportunity knocked. After four years of representing news and sports broadcasters at IMG, I joined Athletes and Artists, which later became The Marquee Group, then SFX Media and then Headline Media Management. As President of Headline Media, I helped position our agency as the premier boutique representing the widest range of broadcasters. In February of 2017, Headline Media was acquired by ICM Partners, where I am a partner overseeing the agency's news and programming efforts within the Broadcasting Department. The entire Headline team has joined ICM Partners, and with great new colleagues, we are excited about the future.
I have been fortunate to work with some of the very best people on the air and behind the scenes, who also have become good friends, including Meredith Vieira, Savannah Guthrie, Wolf Blitzer, Christiane Amanpour, Brad Nessler, Kevin Harlan, John Berman, Mike Tirico, Brianna Keilar. I have also sold numerous true-life stories to Hollywood, which have been made into TV movies.
I don't believe in boundaries, and some of my deals certainly demonstrate that I am always looking to be creative on behalf of my clients. Counseling my clients is a priority, with careful attention to their goals, objectives and how best to help them achieve their dreams.
I have four kids, and my wife Heidi is beyond extraordinary.
