ICM Partners’ Clients Recognized on Variety’s 2020 Power of Young Hollywood List

ICM Partners is proud to congratulate three of our clients, Kehlani, Roman Griffin Davis, and Rachel Zegler for their recognition on the 2020 Variety Power of Young Hollywood list. Every year Variety organizes a Young Hollywood event, honoring the fresh faces making waves across the entertainment industry. This year, however, the publication hosted a virtual program on Facebook highlighting the young stars honored in their annual power list.

For Kehlani, the past year was good until it got better. In May the 25-year-old singer released her second full-length studio album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. The 15-track record made an incredibly strong debut, landing in the number one spots in the iTunes store and on Apple music within hours of its public release. Kehlani maintains an active social media presence where she regularly updates her 12 million plus followers (Instagram and Twitter combined) about her joys of motherhood, which she calls her biggest blessing and most important job.

2020 started off with a lot of suiting up for the 13 year-old actor Roman Griffin Davis. After Starring in the Academy Award-winning film Jojo Rabbit, Griffin Davis received a myriad of award nominations for his leading role as a young Nazi devotee, including a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Griffin Davis’s next film Silent Night is currently in post-production.

On Rachel Zegler’s Instagram profile, the actress refers to herself as a “Latino actor trying to save the world.” A tall order, sure, but the 19-year-old Columbian American actress has already proven that dreams can become reality. For her first big screen role, Zegler was cast to play Maria in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming film adaptation of West Side Story. Zegler told Variety that the role is “a dream come true, plain and simple.”
