ICM’s Andrea Nelson Meigs Joins the Women in Film Board of Directors
ICM Partners Senior Talent and Literary Agent Andrea Nelson Meigs was recently named to the Board of Directors for Women in Film, joining the Los Angeles collective alongside Syrinthia Studer, Talitha Watkins, Vanessa Morrison, and Tracy McGrath.
From insightful films that bring diverse voices to the screen to initiatives aimed at closing the pay gap for female executives and creatives, efforts aimed at achieving equality in film and television take on many forms. Women in Film is a pivotal leader in such movements marked by change. For more than 30 years, Women in Film has steadfastly continued to advocate for and advance the careers of women working in the entertainment industry, working tirelessly to achieve parity and transform the creative culture that we operate within.
“With the election of these new members, the Board gains the invaluable expertise of five of our esteemed colleagues in the screen industries. Each has established herself as an influential figure in our industry, leading to an improved and expanded definition of how women are represented on-screen, off-screen, and in positions of corporate leadership,” said Women in Film’s Board of Directors President Amy Baer.
At ICM, Meigs brings her fearless ethic and leading expertise to her roster of clients that span music icons such as Beyoncé Knowles Carter, award-winning directors, and multi-hyphenate actresses like Ellen Burstyn, and such as so much more. As a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Council of the Motion Picture and Television Fund, and the Entertainment Board of TIME’S UP, Meigs’s industry experience will certainly bring an unmatched influence to Women in Film.
