ICM Partners proudly congratulates our clients Laura Linney, John Shiban (Executive Producer/Writer), David J. Bomba (Production Designer), and Martín Zimmerman (Writer) for their roles in Season 3 of Ozark, which is nominated for Outstanding Drama Series at the 2020 Emmy Awards.

Linney, who stars in the series as Wendy Byrde, is nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series, marking her second consecutive year nominated in the category.

John Shiban is also nominated for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series and David Bomba in Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program (One Hour or More).

Ozark centers around a married couple who move their family to the Missouri Ozarks with the goal of laundering $500 million in five years, entangling the family in all sorts of problems. Ozark has received the highest reviews and praise and has received a total of 32 Primetime Emmy nominations to date. The series third season premiered on March 27, and has received critical acclaim as the series’ best season yet, with Collider writing that “…Ozark Season 3 bets big on itself and wins.”

Linney has also received high praise for her performance this season, as Hollywood Reporter wrote, “…it’s Linney’s season through and through.” In conversation with Netflix Queue, Linney noted the creative value of working alongside great talent on the show, saying “You have a great character to play, within an ensemble of great characters. You know that you’ve been handed something of value. You want it to be as good as it can be.”

We wish our clients all of the best ahead of the Emmy Awards, and are looking forward to seeing how Ozark ends in its fourth and final season.
