In these uncertain times, it’s more important than ever to support our local communities. We at ICM Partners have been in conversation with our community partners to find out how we can support them through the COVID-19 outbreak. We would like to share these resources, should you feel compelled to lend support as well.
Children’s Hospital of LA is looking for blood and platelet donors. Find more information and make an appointment to donate through their website.
Entertainment Industry Foundation has launched a fund for vulnerable people with limited or no access to food sources, assistance for people whose jobs have been impacted, and help for marginalized communities who lack access to medical services. You can learn more and contribute through Music For Relief, or donate to one of their recommended organizations, including CDC Foundation, World Health Organization’s Covid-19 Response Fund, and Center for Disaster Philanthrophy’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
The Downtown Women’s Center is in need of prepaid phones so they can provide remote case management. Find more information including where to donate and their Amazon wishlist on their website.
A Place Called Home has created a virtual fundraiser in order to provide emergency supplies, virtual counseling, and programming options to their community in South Central, Los Angeles.
